These are not plantain chips but an amazing healthy snack, handmade from fresh, green young bananas. They make a great addition to a healthy lunch and are full of banana nutrition – wafer thin banana chips that taste delicious!
We ensure correct ripeness for added crunch, and cook the bananas gently to allow the flavors to remain intact. We learned to pick the finest bananas. Our “Hom Thong” bananas, otherwise known as the golden fragrant bananas. Although “Hom Thong” bananas are more difficult to source, we chose them because they taste better than any other variety of bananas. You can see the difference by the unique golden color and taste the difference by the fragrance of Banana Joe chips.
THIN & CRISPY – unlike other “banana” chips, Banana Joe is made of 100% real bananas, hand-cut into thin, wafer-like slices for maximum crunch without breaking your teeth.
DAILY HARVEST – everyday at sunrise we pick our bananas, cook and pack them on the same day for extra freshness.
LOWER SUGAR – green or unripe bananas are much lower in sugar content. They are a good source of resistant starches.
